The outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) can be stressful for families. Fear and anxiety about a disease can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions in adults and children.

Everyone reacts differently to stressful situations.  The emotional impact of an emergency on a person can depend on the person’s characteristics and experiences, the social and economic circumstances of the person and their community, and the availability of local resources. People can become more distressed if they see repeated images or hear repeated reports about the outbreak in the media. Below are resources put together by SAMHSA to support families during this circumstance.

Without a doubt, many of us are feeling anxious as we navigate the uncertainty of COVID-19. Both Headspace and Calm have curated free resources to help us navigate the coming weeks and months ahead.

Enjoy this curation of content hand-picked to support your mental and emotional wellness through this time. And check back soon as we'll be updating these resources regularly.

Due to the current outbreak, many people are avoiding gathering in large groups, including at yoga studios and other fitness spaces. We believe that stressful times like these are precisely when people need wellness practices the most, and we are committed to doing our part to help out.

So that anyone who wants to practice at home can do so, we are making all of our apps - Down Dog, Yoga for Beginners, HIIT, Barre, and 7 Minute Workout - completely free until April 1st.

In response to the many school closures taking place, we are also offering free access until July 1st for all students and teachers (K-12 and college).
